A woman suspected of abusing her own children has been arrested in the Chuy region.
Information about the investigation emerged after a video appeared on social media showing a woman of Asian descent brutally beating two young children in a private home.
According to the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Department of the Chuy region, the incident was recorded at the Sokuluk district police department, after which an investigation was initiated. During operational activities, the identities of the participants were established: the mother was identified as M.A., born in 1995, and her husband N.M., born in 1988. The injured children are M.A. (born in 2016) and M.M. (born in 2018).
The family has been referred to the investigative service for necessary investigative actions. In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Articles 138 "Torture" and 139 "Threat of violence dangerous to life and health" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investigation established that the incident occurred on November 26, 2025. Preliminary data indicate that the woman beat the children in revenge against her husband, with whom she had been in a prolonged conflict lasting about three months.
According to Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, citizen M.A. was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
