In the Chui region, law enforcement agencies detained a 30-year-old woman known as M.A. on charges of abusing her children. A criminal case has been opened against her under Articles 138 (torture) and 139 (threat of violence dangerous to life and health) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The detainee has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
According to the investigation, the incident took place on November 26, 2025. The woman, in a prolonged conflict with her spouse, physically assaulted her children as an act of revenge. The victims were M.A., born in 2016, and M.M., born in 2018.
The children were taken along with their mother to the investigative authorities for necessary procedures.
According to information from the department, the police promptly responded to a video that spread on social media, showing the woman brutally beating her children with a hairdryer cord.
