According to the agency, the criminal case related to the murder committed in 2016 in Russia was transferred to the law enforcement agencies of Kyrgyzstan and registered at the Kadamjai District Department of Internal Affairs on December 3, 2025.
The investigation established that a citizen identified as S.A., residing in the Kadamjai district, inflicted a knife wound on a man named T.J., born in 1973, during a conflict in the Moscow region, resulting in his death.
After the investigative authorities in Russia confirmed the suspect's guilt, the case was sent to Kyrgyzstan in accordance with international convention.
Officers from the criminal investigation department of the Kadamjai District Department of Internal Affairs conducted operational activities, resulting in the detention of S.A. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility, as reported in the press release.
