According to preliminary information, a resident of the capital contacted the police for help in searching for her sister. It turned out that the day before, on December 23, she had divorced her husband U.B., born in 1978, and went to work. On the same day, her ex-husband met her, forcibly put her in a car, and took her in an unknown direction.
In response to the alarming signal, law enforcement agencies immediately announced a "Intercept" plan.
Later, it became known that the man shot his ex-wife. The suspect was detained.
The deceased, who turned 47 on the day of the tragedy, left behind two children.
The press service of the Bishkek City Police confirmed the information about the incident and provided additional details.
On the evening of December 23, around nine o'clock, a call was received at the duty station reporting that a murder had occurred in an apartment in a multi-story building at the address Bokonbaeva—Ibraimova.
A investigative-operational group from the Sverdlovsk District Police Department arrived at the scene, which established that a quarrel had occurred between the former spouses U.B., born in 1977, and U.Zh., born in 1978, after the divorce. During the conflict, U.B. shot his ex-wife with a traumatic pistol "MR-79," as a result of which the woman died from her injuries.
This crime was registered under Article 122 ("Murder") of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. The 48-year-old detainee has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
An investigation is underway.
