According to the investigation, after the divorce between 45-year-old U.B. and 47-year-old U.J., a conflict arose during which the suspect shot his ex-wife with a traumatic pistol MР-79. The woman died from her injuries.
After the incident, a "Intercept" plan was implemented to search for the suspect. During the operation, law enforcement confirmed that the man, who previously worked in the Bishkek Road Traffic Safety Department, was detained.
This case has been registered under Article 122 ("Murder") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. An investigation is currently underway.
It is worth noting that on the day of the tragedy, the victim was celebrating her birthday—she turned 47. She is survived by two children.
