A tragic incident occurred in Bishkek: a former police officer has become a suspect in a murder. This information was officially confirmed by the employees of the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Department.
According to law enforcement sources, on December 23, 2025, at approximately 21:00, a report was received by the "102" service of the Bishkek City Internal Affairs Department about an incident: in an apartment on Bokonbaeva Street, a former husband shot his wife.
The investigative operational group immediately arrived at the scene and established that a verbal altercation had occurred between the former spouses U.J., born in 1978, and U.B., born in 1977. During the conflict, U.B. shot U.J. with his registered traumatic pistol of the brand "MR-79," after which the woman died from her injuries.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated on the fact of murder.
Police officers, acting on hot pursuit, detained the suspect U.B., who was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Internal Affairs Department.
The investigation is ongoing.
