A police officer named K.Z., born in 1988, was arrested and placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB). His detention occurred on suspicion of sexual assault against a girl in the vicinity of the village of Orok, according to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to information from the agency, the incident took place on November 28. K.Z., posing as a police officer, approached a car in which a girl and her acquaintance were sitting. After sending the young man to a store, he began to threaten the girl, exert psychological pressure on her, and used physical force, after which he committed sexual acts.
A citizen, A. kyzy A., born in 2005, filed a complaint with the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District of Bishkek. During the investigation, it was established that K.Z. was indeed involved in the incident, after which he was taken into custody and delivered to the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The case has been transferred to the investigative department of the GKNB in Bishkek.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes that it continues to fight against unscrupulous employees within its ranks.
