
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has voiced its position regarding the offenses committed by police officers, emphasizing that every guilty party will be held accountable, regardless of their position or rank.
According to information provided by the police, a citizen identified as A. K. A., born in 2005, approached the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District of Bishkek. She reported an incident that occurred on November 28, 2025, around 11:30 PM, when she was in a car with an acquaintance near the village of Orok. An unknown man, claiming to be a police officer, sent her companion to a store and then, threatening and using physical force, committed sexual acts.
During the investigation, the Internal Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs established that the perpetrator is an active police officer, K. J., born in 1988. He has been detained and taken to the investigative authorities.
The case materials, along with the suspect, have been transferred to the investigative unit of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) in Bishkek. The detained individual is currently in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB, and the investigation is ongoing.
