In Bishkek, on Chuy Avenue, work has begun on paving the road near GUM.
It is expected that the completion of the work and the opening of traffic on the updated road will take place on December 5-6 of this year.
It is worth noting that an important infrastructure project — the underground complex Old Bishkek — is ongoing in the center of the capital. As of the end of October, about 80% of all planned construction work had been completed.
“Many residents are eagerly awaiting this project. In May, when we laid the capsule, some believed that its implementation would take many years. However, it is now clear that the construction is progressing steadily, adhering to all safety standards and technologies. Our task is not only to complete the project on time but also to create a modern, convenient, and safe space for the capital,” emphasized Mayor Aibek Junushaliev.
