A serious traffic accident occurred on the 129th kilometer of the Almaty - Bishkek highway. The police have already initiated a criminal case, according to Orda.kz.
According to preliminary data, the collision occurred when the driver of a Honda Odyssey crashed into the trailer of a HOWO truck that was moving ahead. Shocking video footage from the scene of the incident has appeared on social media.
According to the Almaty Region Police Department, "as a result of the accident, all seven people in the passenger car, including the driver, died."
Currently, law enforcement agencies are conducting a pre-trial investigation.
