The police note that Bazhkenova's actions led to the formation of a false opinion about the professional activities of the officer and also harmed his reputation.
Furthermore, another article contains distorted data regarding the size and reasons for the material damage in the context of a property dispute, which also misled the public and damaged the reputation of the applicant.
Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating other complaints related to Orda's publications.
Additionally, searches are being conducted at Bazhkenova's residence and workplace as part of the investigation. "Electronic devices and materials have been seized that will help establish the details of the preparation and publication of false information," the police added.
On September 4, Orda released news about the detention of Murat Nurtleu, who was then the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Soon after, the Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva pointed out the dissemination of "unverified information." The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aibek Smadiyarov, also denied these reports. Nurtleu himself stated that he does not intend to respond to rumors and does not plan to file a lawsuit against the media.
