According to information from KazTAG, at the 219th kilometer of the Almaty – Tashkent road, local patrol police stopped an Audi that matched the description of the wanted vehicle. During the check, they discovered that a 44-year-old man, accused of several cases of fraud, including in particularly large amounts, was sitting in the back seat.
After the detention, the man was taken to the Kordai district police department. Subsequently, after completing all necessary procedural actions, he was handed over to Kyrgyz law enforcement agencies in accordance with the legislation. The press release emphasizes that thanks to the attentiveness and quick response of the police in the Zhambyl region, a person who was hiding from justice and was on international wanted lists for serious crimes was apprehended.
