
According to information from the police press service, Ekaterina Bivol is wanted under a decision for detention.
“The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. In the interests of the investigation, further information cannot be disclosed,” the police noted.
In early October, Ekaterina posted a video on social media in which she made offensive comments towards representatives of various nationalities, including Kyrgyz and Kazakhs.
On October 25, the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek initiated a criminal case against Ekaterina Bivol on charges of inciting interethnic hatred. She was charged in absentia, a preventive measure in the form of detention was taken, and she was declared wanted.
Ekaterina Bivol is the ex-wife of Dmitry Bivol, a well-known boxer and native of Tokmok. Their marriage lasted 16 years, and the couple separated in 2023. She often comments on her ex-husband on social media.
