When Emotions Lead to Insults
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan has put Ekaterina Bivol, the ex-wife of the famous boxer Dmitry Bivol, on the wanted list. This was reported by official sources from the ministry.
Ekaterina Bivol is currently in custody as a preventive measure.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan initiated proceedings to hold her accountable for insults posted on social media. A court in Bishkek has already issued a warrant for her arrest in absentia.
The scandal arose from videos in which Ekaterina Bivol insults people of various nationalities.
Dmitry Bivol, a Russian professional boxer and WBA world champion in the light heavyweight category, and Ekaterina were together since 2007, marrying in 2014. The couple has a son. However, in June 2023, their relationship ended in divorce after 16 years of living together.
Since then, a scandal has erupted that continues to this day, accompanied by public mutual accusations on social media and legal disputes. Ekaterina accused Dmitry of abuse, infidelity, and financial fraud, while he characterized her behavior as immoral.
