The state regained lands worth 150 million

As part of the investigation into a criminal case related to corruption, 6 hectares of land within the boundaries of the village of Kok-Zhar (contour 172) have been returned to the state, with a market value of 150 million soms. This was reported by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek.

According to law enforcement agencies, a group of individuals, along with some officials, organized an effective corruption scheme that involved the fragmentation and sale of agricultural land located within contour No. 172 of the village of Kok-Zhar.

During the investigation, the individuals involved in the case, I. Zh., B. A., S. B., B. I., O. I., and S. E., agreed to return the land plots totaling 6 hectares, valued at 150 million soms, and transferred them to the balance of the State Property Management Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic (SPMF KR).

The investigation is ongoing.
