According to information from the police, early in the morning on December 22, around 07:50, a report of a fire at the kindergarten "Төрт-Көл," located in the village of Tort-Kul, was received by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Sokuluk district. The incident was registered, and an investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene.
During the investigation, it was found that the kindergarten began its operations on December 20, 2023. Preliminary data indicated that smoke was observed coming from the northern part of the roof.
At the time of the fire, there were about 20 children and 10 staff members in the facility, all of whom were quickly evacuated. Some furniture was also removed. Fortunately, no one was injured.
A team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations from the Sokuluk district was working at the scene. Firefighters promptly extinguished the blaze.
Necessary examinations have been appointed to determine the cause of the fire. The investigation is ongoing, and a procedural decision will be made based on its results.
