On December 23, a woman contacted the police, asking for help in finding her sister. She reported that the day before, her sister had officially divorced her husband named U. B. and had gone to work.
According to the applicant, the ex-husband met her, forcibly shoved her into a car, and took her away in an unknown direction. In response, law enforcement agencies announced a "Intercept" plan.
It later became clear that the man shot his ex-wife in one of the apartments on Bokonbaeva Street, located in the Sverdlovsk district of the capital.
The suspect has been detained, and police officers are currently continuing the investigation into the incident.

Later, the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek reported that the incident became known on December 23 at around 21:00, when a call was received at "102." According to law enforcement, after the divorce between U. Zh. (born in 1978) and U. B. (born in 1977), a quarrel occurred during which the man shot his ex-wife with a registered traumatic pistol of the brand MP-79. The woman died from the injuries sustained. A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect, who is detained and currently in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek. The investigation is ongoing.
