A criminal case has been initiated
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a police officer has been detained on suspicion of raping an eighth-grade student. This was reported by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate (GUVD).
According to law enforcement agencies, on December 11, the head of the juvenile affairs inspection (IDN) of the Sverdlovsk district submitted a report to the local internal affairs department. The document states that in late November 2025, the schoolgirl developed a close relationship with the police officer.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was opened under Article 154 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The detainee is an active employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who is currently in the temporary detention facility (IVS) of the GUVD.
The investigation is ongoing.
