Passengers of the minibus raised an alarm
In Bishkek, a pickpocket was detained after becoming the star of a video that went viral on social media. This information was confirmed by the capital's Main Internal Affairs Department (GUVD).
At the moment the thief was acting in the minibus, passengers noticed his maneuvers and raised an alarm, forcing him to leave the vehicle. The criminal's face was captured on camera, and the video quickly spread across social platforms.
GUVD officers, monitoring social media posts, recorded the incident. As a result, a criminal case was initiated under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the investigation, operatives identified the suspect, who turned out to be 31-year-old B.A., previously convicted for similar crimes.
