According to the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui Region, a man has been detained in Tokmok, accused of domestic violence.
The victim, I.A., born in 1976, contacted the police requesting action against her son, I.S., born in 1992.
The incident occurred in October 2025, when the man, under the influence of alcohol, began to insult his mother in their home and subsequently inflicted bodily harm on her, resulting in a fracture of her left arm.
According to the results of the forensic medical examination, the inflicted harm was deemed to be of lesser severity.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 177 (Domestic Violence) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
