On December 17, a resident of the village of Dostuk, located in the Alamudun district, reported to the police. He stated that in June 2025, he handed over 8,000 US dollars, and then an additional 4,000 dollars to a man who promised to sell him 20 acres of land in the villages of Belovodskoye and Aleksandrovka in the Moscow district.
According to the terms of the deal, the seller was supposed to arrange all the necessary documents; however, he did not fulfill his obligations and refused to return the money. The victim claims that the fraudster evaded meetings and threatened him, citing his connections with high-ranking officials.
The total damage incurred by the victim amounted to 1 million 440 thousand soms.
This incident was registered under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational activities, the police detained the suspect, identified as K.E., born in 1985, who had previously been convicted of similar crimes. The man was placed in a temporary detention facility.
During the investigation, it was revealed that he may be involved in other similar crimes.
