The press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Batken region reported that a 52-year-old citizen named Ы.А. approached the police. He stated that in May 2022, a resident of the village of Kazarman, located in the Toguz-Toro district of the Jalal-Abad region, B.B.A., deceitfully took $5,000 from him, promising to help with the purchase of a car, but has not returned the money to this day.
In connection with this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code.
After conducting operational-search activities, the suspect was detained in Bishkek and brought to Batken.
Investigative actions are currently ongoing.
