In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a temporary shutdown of drinking water is expected on December 4, 2025. Water supply will be halted from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM in residential buildings, educational institutions, medical facilities, and other social and industrial organizations. This information was provided by the city mayor's office.
The affected areas will include the streets: Sadyrbaev, Tashauzskaya, Tsiolkovsky, Chukotskaya, and Bakayev.
The reason for the shutdown is the need to conduct emergency restoration work on the water pipeline: on Bakayev Street with a diameter of 300 mm and on Tashauzskaya Street with a diameter of 100 mm.
Previously, authorities also informed about the water supply shutdown on the same day in the area bounded by Selyektsionnaya, Muromskaya, Birimdik, and J.Baatyr streets.
The municipal enterprise "Bishkekvodokanal" apologizes for any inconvenience and recommends that residents and organizations stock up on drinking water in advance.
