On January 20, another raid to monitor meat prices took place in the Oktobrskiy district of Bishkek, as reported by the city hall.

Representatives from the Oktobrskiy district administration, the municipal inspection, as well as employees from the Oktobrskiy Internal Affairs Department and MTU No. 403 participated in this event. The main focus was on the Orto-Sai market.

As noted by the city hall, sellers were reminded of the rules for state regulation of prices on essential food products. In particular, the maximum retail price for bone-in beef should not exceed 680 soms per kilogram.

According to the municipality, these inspections are conducted in accordance with order No. 01-12/08 of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, dated August 14, 2025. From August 2025 to January 2026, 226 raids were conducted in the Oktobrskiy district, and price monitoring is carried out daily.
