One woman told me that her daughter had died, yet she is still listed as a voter. Another voter approached me whose husband had died, but he is still on the rolls. She has contacted the Public Service Center and other authorities, but the problem remains unresolved. Why is it so difficult to synchronize databases?” — the deputy expressed his bewilderment.
This issue was raised during the discussion of amendments to the law “On the Personalized Accounting of Citizens for Mandatory State Social Insurance.”
With the adoption of the bill, there will be an opportunity to make changes to the PIN assigned to a citizen in exceptional cases.
Nursultan Kubanov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies, added that currently about 100,000 people are facing problems due to duplicate PIN codes. “In addition to the issue you mentioned, there are several other questions that require resolution. We propose to adopt this bill, and your question will be addressed,” he noted.
