Deputy on Driver Training Duration: Even in a Tank, They Learn to Drive Faster

At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 21, Bekeshev called for a review of the driver training duration.

He agreed on the importance of fostering a driving culture among citizens but suggested starting educational programs from kindergarten and school lessons.

“Children need to be taught the basics of road safety, explained how to cross the street properly, and introduced to traffic rules. Let's start with this. Ten months is too long. You can learn to drive a tank much faster,” the deputy added.
