
From January 23 to 25, the championship of Kyrgyzstan in judo for men and women will take place at the "Gazprom – Children" sports and health complex in the city of Osh.
The tournament will gather the best judokas in the country, who will compete for medals and the opportunity to join the national team. Women will compete in weight categories: up to 48, 52, 57, 63, 70, 78 kg and over 78 kg, while men will vie for awards in categories up to 60, 66, 73, 81, 90, 100 kg and over 100 kg.
The main goal of this tournament is to form the composition of the national judo team of Kyrgyzstan for 2026. In addition, the championship will serve as an important milestone for selecting promising athletes for the team reserve, will contribute to strengthening sports unity among youth, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and enhancing the skill level of the participants.
The championship is organized by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Directorate for Olympic Sports, and the Judo Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
