By the order of the president, Kanibek Tumanbaev, the head of the state administration, visited Shopokov to inspect construction sites owned by the company "Dooolot Kuruulush." During the visit, it was revealed that over 1,000 investors had invested more than 1 billion soms into the project; however, actual construction work had not been carried out, and most sites remain at the foundation stage. People, who have been waiting for the completion of construction for almost two years, expressed their complaints to the president.
The city administration allocated a land plot of over 8 hectares to the developer, with the obligation to provide 140 apartments to the city’s balance, but these obligations have not been fulfilled so far.
In connection with the identified violations, a special working group has been formed to investigate the movement of funds, compliance with contract terms, and the actual volumes of construction work. A meeting with the investors is expected to take place tomorrow at 14:00 at one of the company's sites.
The president emphasized that the protection of citizens' rights remains a priority, and the actions of the developer will be subject to legal assessment. The situation is being monitored at the highest level.
