During public hearings on the budget project for 2026, which involved the mayor, the chairman of the city council, and deputies, pressing issues concerning roads, water supply, bus routes, and electricity supply were discussed. Residents noted that many of the electric poles installed during the Soviet era pose a threat, as they are wooden, and the electricity capacity remains low.
“All problems have been recorded. Issues related to local governance will be addressed through the mayor's office, while others will be directed to the relevant institutions,” the mayor's office reported.
