Questions regarding driving schools and obtaining driver's licenses have become the subject of active discussion in society, as reported by Daiyrbek Orunbekov, head of the information policy service of the presidential administration.
He noted that in recent days, debates on this issue have emerged in public discourse. Today, President Sadyr Japarov clarified these questions in detail during his interview, which he believes may resolve the misunderstandings that have arisen.
Orunbekov also emphasized that the dissatisfaction expressed by some private driving schools online was related to the spread of false information and attempts to attract media attention to their position. He believes that the president's clarifications definitively close all disputes.
Additionally, he added that those who organized protest actions spread rumors that driving lessons would cost 100 or even 200 thousand soms. This information is not true.
Currently, the official price for training in driving schools is set at 19 thousand soms; however, students will bear the costs of fuel during practical lessons.
This is significantly lower compared to previous prices in private driving schools, where the total cost of theoretical and practical training reached 35–36 thousand soms," he noted.
