During the inspection of postal shipments arriving from the People's Republic of China, employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Smuggling at the "Railway Station" customs clearance zone of the "Northern" railway customs discovered synthetic fishing nets weighing a total of 11.80 kg, which are prohibited for import into the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the State Customs Service, a representative of the company OsOO "R.K." stated that he was not aware of the prohibition on the import of such goods.
In this case, there are signs of a violation of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. Further investigation into the incident will be conducted in accordance with the law.
These measures are being carried out in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 131 "On Urgent Measures to Preserve the Ecology of Lake Issyk-Kul" and in accordance with the directive of the State Customs Service.
