In 2025, 369 cases of unpaid fares on public transport were recorded in Bishkek.
According to the city administration, protocols were drawn up against the violators, and each was fined 1000 soms. As a result, the total amount of fines reached 369,000 soms.
Inspections are conducted by the Department of Transport Development and Road Infrastructure of the city in collaboration with the municipal enterprise "Bishkek City Transport" and the company "Tulpar".
Control over fare payments is carried out daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and aims to increase responsibility among passengers.
As part of the raid activities, administrative measures are applied to passengers without paid fares, which, according to the legislation, involves drawing up protocols and imposing fines of 1000 soms.
It should be noted that the initiative to conduct these activities was given back in 2024. In the first quarter, explanatory work was carried out to inform the public about the rules of using public transport and the necessity of paying fares.
The Bishkek city administration urges all passengers to comply with the rules and pay their fares on time, which, in turn, contributes to the improvement and stable operation of the capital's public transport system.
