At the Kyrgyz-Chinese border, at the "Torugart" checkpoint, a meeting was held with drivers of heavy trucks arriving from China. The event was organized by the head of the traffic safety department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Naryn region, Police Lieutenant Colonel Nurbek Salymbaev.

During the meeting with the drivers, together with customs officers and translators, emphasis was placed on the necessity of strict adherence to traffic rules when entering Kyrgyzstan. Drivers were reminded that crossing into oncoming traffic is prohibited, it is necessary to maintain distance, and to avoid driving "too close" to each other, especially at night. Additionally, informational leaflets in Chinese were distributed, which were placed at the checkpoint.

Furthermore, explanatory work was conducted on the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart highway with local and foreign drivers who were causing traffic jams and driving into oncoming lanes. They were reminded of the importance of maintaining road behavior culture and mutual respect.
