Work has begun on the demolition of illegal constructions on Shakirova Street in Osh, according to information from the local mayor's office.
The Department of Urban Planning and Architecture, acting on the instructions of Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev, conducted a raid during which illegal buildings were discovered.
Owners of commercial properties and restaurants have started voluntarily dismantling those parts of their buildings that were constructed beyond the established red line towards the roadway. Notifications and warnings were sent to the owners in advance, as stated in the press release.
These measures are aimed at preserving the architectural appearance of the city, improving road safety, and preventing further illegal construction.
