The Youth Award named after Chyngyz Aitmatov will be awarded once every three years

Important changes have been made to the State Youth Award named after Chyngyz Aitmatov: it will be awarded not every two years, but once every three years. The Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy, Marat Tagaev, announced this information during a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with issues of science, education, innovative development, culture, sports, and youth affairs.

Additionally, he noted that the funding for the award has increased — it now amounts to 200,000 soms, compared to the previous 100,000 soms.

“The award will be given in 11 different nominations,” he added.
