
A scientific round table dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Kyrgyz Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was held at the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, in the Institute of History, Archaeology, and Ethnology named after B. Jamgerchinov.
According to information provided by the president's press service, the event was conducted under the guidance of the Secretary of State of Kyrgyzstan, Arslan Koichiev.
Speaking about the significance of the event, the Secretary of State noted the necessity of conducting a scientific analysis of the process of forming Kyrgyz statehood, the political and social events of the Soviet era, as well as discussing issues of national identity and self-awareness. He emphasized the importance of continuing research in this area.
During the meeting, participants, including historians and political scientists, evaluated archival materials and proposed conceptual ideas for further research.
At the conclusion of the event, Arslan Koichiev noted that such scientific discussions help to better understand the history of Kyrgyz statehood and to reflect on historical lessons in the context of modernity and the future. He also urged scholars to continue systematic study of this topic.
