Recently, information was received that sick pheasants, which began to die, were spotted in Dolinka of the Issyk-Kul district.
In connection with this situation, employees of the regional department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision took urgent measures. They are conducting raids in forested areas where pheasants are most commonly found. At the moment, no cases of illness have been recorded in other districts.
For the diagnosis of the pheasant disease captured on video, samples were collected and sent to a specialized veterinary laboratory. There are also plans to send materials for further analysis to Bishkek — to the National Academy of Sciences.
After receiving the results of the examinations, new information will be provided, and necessary measures will be taken.
