On February 3, a meeting was held in Bishkek with entrepreneurs from the Lenin district, where issues related to the implementation of the state language in the service sector and outdoor advertising were discussed.
The organizers of the event included the city hall, the district administration, and the National Commission on the State Language under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. This event was part of the implementation of the Constitutional Law "On the State Language".
Attending the meeting were Melis Murataliev, the chairman of the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy, representatives of the Bishkek city hall, the Lenin district administration, and officials from the trade and service sectors.
Participants in the meeting received clarifications on the legal aspects related to the use of the state language in consumer services, as well as on bringing outdoor advertising into compliance with legislation and the necessity of coordinating texts in the state language with local authorities.
The city hall emphasized that such meetings with businessmen will continue in various districts of the capital until February 6, 2026.
