As a result of artificial reproduction, 812 thousand eggs of Issyk-Kul trout were obtained, which were then placed in incubation devices for further growth. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the hatching process has already been completed.
During the cultivation, losses were observed at the level of 8%, which led to a final number of 747 thousand fry. The yield was 92%, which is considered quite a high indicator. "At the moment, the fry have started receiving specially prepared starter feeds," the official statement notes.
In addition, 2 million 500 thousand eggs of the sig-ludoga fish were also produced, which are currently in the process of being raised in incubation devices. It is expected that the hatching of these eggs will occur in 82 days, approximately in March.
