According to Deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva, residents of Lushchikhina Street in the Lenin District are expressing dissatisfaction due to the constant unpleasant odor coming from the Coca-Cola plant.
She emphasized that the plant was built with violations and without consideration of sanitary norms, and its fence is located right next to private houses.
In response, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev noted that the plant was constructed before residential buildings appeared in the area.
“Coca-Cola is an international company that takes environmental issues seriously. Emissions of harmful substances from the plant are impossible,” he added.
