It has been revealed that after the rain and subsequent drop in temperature, the road surface in this area has been covered with a barely noticeable layer of ice.
Some drivers, according to witnesses, may not notice the danger: the road appears dark, creating a false sense of safety.
“Cars are moving slowly. However, reports of traffic accidents have already come in,” they added.
Traffic safety inspectors are working at the scene.
