Youth Internship. A program for attracting young specialists is being implemented in the Kyrgyz Republic

The Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, in collaboration with the World Bank, is launching the "Youth Internship" initiative aimed at attracting specialists aged 16 to 35.

According to information from the Ministry of Labor, the goal of the program is to prepare personnel in relevant professions: participants undergo short-term courses and are then sent for internships at various institutions and enterprises, including private, state, and municipal.

The program offers employers a number of advantages:

● the opportunity to shape young specialists who meet the company's needs;

● reduction of costs for searching and adapting new employees;

● access to a motivated youth audience with basic skills;

● the ability to evaluate the work of interns before their official employment.

It is important to note that interns receive a scholarship from the government of 8,600 soms per month during the internship, and a scholarship is also provided during the training period.

The initiative covers 30 pilot cities and regions of Kyrgyzstan. Employers interested in participating can contact local employment assistance services to apply and obtain additional information about the participation process. Applications can also be submitted online.

The main goal of the project is to develop professional skills among youth, promote employment, and strengthen the local labor market, creating mutually beneficial conditions for cooperation between employers and young specialists.
