In collaboration with the World Bank, the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration is launching a program called "Youth Internship," aimed at employing young people aged 16 to 35.

As part of this project, young specialists will undergo short-term courses and then be sent for internships in various organizations and enterprises covering all sectors of the economy — private, public, and municipal.

Employers will receive a number of benefits from participating in the program:

● the opportunity to prepare young specialists according to the specific needs of their company;
● reduced costs for searching and integrating new employees;
● access to active youth with already existing basic skills;
● the opportunity to evaluate the work of interns before their official employment.

It is important to note that interns are provided with a government scholarship of 8,600 soms per month during the internship, as well as a scholarship during their training.

The program covers 30 cities and regions of Kyrgyzstan as pilot sites. Employers interested in participating can contact local employment services to apply and receive detailed information. There is also an option to submit an application online.

The goal of the project is to develop the professional skills of youth, support employment, and strengthen the local labor market, which will facilitate mutually beneficial cooperation between employers and young specialists.
