Scholarship "El Ümütü". Graduates Ready to Contribute to the Development of the Country

At a meeting with Gulzat Isamatova, the Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations, graduates of the international presidential scholarship "El ümitü" expressed their readiness to actively contribute to the development of the country.

The ministry reported that the meeting took place in an open dialogue format, where pressing issues regarding the further development of the scholarship program were discussed. Participants exchanged views on mechanisms to support talented youth and discussed the role of graduates in strengthening human resources and their participation in socially significant projects.

During the conversation, graduates shared their experiences and expressed ideas for improving the fields of education, science, and innovation. In particular, they discussed the need to expand interaction with government bodies, increase support for youth projects, and create a sustainable platform for regular exchange of initiatives.

Participants of the meeting also expressed gratitude to President Sadyr Japarov for his contribution to the creation and successful functioning of the "El ümitü" scholarship. According to them, this program opens up many new opportunities for youth and plays an important role in preparing qualified specialists for the country.

Gulzat Isamatova noted that the activity of graduates and their constructive proposals are of significant importance for increasing the effectiveness of the program. She emphasized that all proposed initiatives will be carefully considered. The parties also expressed their intention to maintain ongoing interaction and cooperation to implement joint initiatives in the interests of the country.

The meeting was also held in a hybrid format, allowing Kyrgyz students studying abroad to join the discussion online.

As a result of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue fruitful cooperation and jointly promote initiatives aimed at the development of the republic.

Graduates of the "El ümitü" scholarship are successfully working in various fields, including public administration, healthcare, the financial sector, and private business. For example, Islam Ayazbaev and Valeria Stashevskaya work at the National Bank, Zhibek Kydyrova is in law, Nurshat Ababakirov is with UN representations in Kyrgyzstan, Asel Abdurakhmanova is in the healthcare system, and Aysuluu Kozhokulova is preparing for the visit of the TechWomen program delegation as an expert in technology and digital economy.

“These examples confirm the effectiveness of the program and its contribution to the development of the country's human capital,” the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations notes.

The "El ümitü" scholarship aims to support talented youth, create conditions for their academic and professional growth, and strengthen the human resources potential of the Kyrgyz Republic. The program provides an opportunity to receive world-class education and contributes to the training of specialists capable of making a significant contribution to the development of the country.

It was previously reported that over three years of the project, approximately 40 scholars have been funded.
