The Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation reported that this ranking aims to assess the contribution of universities to addressing social and environmental issues, developing "green" infrastructure, supporting inclusivity, as well as the quality of governance and social responsibility.
Among the recognized institutions:
- Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, actively implementing international programs and environmental initiatives, as well as projects aimed at creating sustainable campuses;
- Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razakov, which is introducing energy-efficient technologies, digitalization, and modern engineering approaches;
- Osh State University (OshGU), focused on expanding "green" infrastructure and implementing social projects related to sustainable development practices.
