
In the Batken region, specifically in the Leilek district, India will provide a grant for the establishment of an IT Lab, as well as for the modernization of the infrastructure of the Primary Health Care Center (PHCC). This was announced by the Ministry of Energy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The agency reported the signing of several memoranda:
- A Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of the project "Creation of an IT Lab for the Kyrgyz Economic University (KEU) in Bishkek" between the Ministry of External Affairs of India, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the KR, and the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations of the KR;
- A Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of the project "Improvement of the technical base and infrastructure of the Primary Health Care Center (PHCC) in Leilek District" between the Ministry of External Affairs of India, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the KR, and the office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the KR in the Batken region.
Each of the memoranda will be supported by a grant of 126 million 600 thousand soms from India.
The documents were signed by the Ambassador of India to Kyrgyzstan, Birender Singh Yadav, on behalf of the Ministry of External Affairs of India.
On the part of Kyrgyzstan, the memoranda were signed by the Minister of Economy and Commerce, Bakyt Sydykov, the Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovations, Baktiyar Orozov, as well as the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the KR in the Batken region, Zhanibek Isakov.
