The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic held a meeting chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev. Representatives of government agencies and the sewing industry participated in the discussion.
The agenda included important issues regarding access for Kyrgyz products to the Russian market. Meeting participants noted that the tightening of control by Russian authorities has led to the current crisis. Measures to support domestic producers in both internal and external markets were also discussed.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the need to improve inter-agency coordination, modernize infrastructure, expand training programs, and implement modern quality standards. Businesspeople voiced the existing barriers faced by enterprises and expressed their readiness to cooperate to eliminate them.
As a result of the discussion, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce was tasked with preparing a set of measures aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the sewing industry and creating comfortable conditions for doing business.
The Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov emphasized that the ministry will continue to work closely with the business community to develop balanced and effective solutions that promote the long-term development of the sector.
