Kyrgyzstan and India Launch Joint Project Worth 126 Million Som

Today, a tripartite memorandum was signed in Bishkek regarding the project "Creation of a technical base and improvement of the infrastructure of the Center for General Medical Practice in the Leilek District of the Batken Region."

The event was attended by the Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, Bakyt Sydykov, the Ambassador of India to the country, Birender Singh Yadav, and the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Batken Region, Zhanibek Isakov.

The grant project, funded by the Government of India, amounts to 126 million soms.

Joint initiatives in the Batken region aimed at cultivating and processing the valuable medicinal plant ferula were also discussed at the meeting.
