According to the information from the agency, 50% of the planned volume has been completed so far.
This year, it is planned to sow winter grains on a total area of 7,300 hectares in the Batken region, with 6,817 hectares allocated for wheat and 483 hectares for barley.
Currently, wheat has already been sown on more than 2,800 hectares, while barley occupies over 330 hectares.
The work on the autumn sowing is expected to be completed by December 1.
Compared to last year, the area for sowing winter crops will increase by 700 hectares.
