The municipality has created a special commission to work on the plan, which includes deputies of the city kenesh, as well as experts from the mayor's office and the urban planning and architecture department. The commission has already held two meetings, during which it began to formulate a concept for the further development of the urban area.
The new master plan will serve as the basis for long-term planning of urban infrastructure, including transportation networks and areas for residential construction.
Until the new document is approved, the previous master plan, which was developed for the period from 2016 to 2025, remains in effect.
Previously, the commission successfully completed work on a detailed plan for the central part of Osh, covering 3.5 hectares, which has already received approval from the city kenesh.
